  About CLIC IH Seville

CLIC (Centro de Lenguas e Intercambio Cultural) became a fully-affiliated member of the International House World Organisation in 1997, under the new name of CLIC International House Seville.

THE SCHOOL

CLIC International House Seville is a lively modern language school with an international atmosphere, with two centres in the heart of Seville, offering a wide varietyof general language and specialist courses in English, Spanish, French and German, Chinese, Japanese and Italian as well as Teacher Training for English and Spanish teachers. It is one of the longest-running and most successful Spanish language schools in Spain, and one of the largest English language teaching centres in Andalucia.

International House Seville Teacher Training was approved by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES) as a centre for Cambridge ESOL courses in 1998. All our Teacher Training courses thus have the double guarantee of Cambridge ESOL and International House.

Facilities

There are a total of over 35 classrooms, video and lecture rooms, a multi-media study centre and library and a specialist language bookshop. Candidates on Teacher Training courses will have full access to school facilities, including a well-stocked study room and library, a mini-library of EFL methodology books, free computer and internet access and free photocopying.

Staffing at International House Seville Teacher Training Centre

All trainers on our Cambridge ESOL courses have been approved after having undergone an extensive trainer-in-training programme. Tutors are practising teachers of English who divide their time between teaching and teacher training. They are highly qualified and experienced both as teachers and trainers and themselves take part in ongoing training programmes, such as attending conferences and in-house development sessions, in order to keep abreast of the cutting edge of the ELT profession.
